MRI-Opt. BD-IA

3 Years | 180 Credits

The "BDIA" option is designed to train professionals. These professionals will then master not only the managerial and technical aspects of information systems development, but also those relating to the design, development, implementation and management of tools and systems for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. This option will include the latest advances in methods, techniques and technologies related to this discipline, such as data mining, data warehousing, NoSQL programming, cloud computing, artificial learning and more.

Successful candidates :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
  • The preparatory cycle or equivalent,
  • Successful completion of a first year of an engineering or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.

The predictable distinctive skills of theBig Data and Business Intelligence engineer are divided into three areas. These characterise the technical fields targeted by our training.

  • Data ingestion from external sources or APIs.
  • Automation of data consumption to alert users of abnormal events.
  • Experimental frameworks and A/B testing
  • MetadataManagement
  • Chief Data Officer
  • The Chief Data Officer (CDO) is a data specialist. He or she is responsible for data management, data processing, data quality and data administration.

  • Data scientist (AI)
  • The data scientist manages, analyzes and exploits massive amounts of data. Their role is to understand and model different business issues, as well as to develop predictive models to anticipate changes in data and trends in their company's sector of activity. The data scientist has triple expertise in Machine learning, Deep learning and Data Vizualization.

  • Machine Learning Engineer
  • Machine learning engineers develop algorithms to process large volumes of data. They must choose the most relevant model from all those available to meet the company's needs. They are responsible for industrializing artificial intelligence models and managing the lifecycle of models and data.

  • Data analyst
  • The data analyst determines a typical customer's profile, expectations and needs. The result is relevant indicators to influence the company's operational strategy. He or she is therefore at the heart of the marketing strategy to be built up, by elaborating segmentation criteria to optimize this strategy and by sending web analytics reports.

  • Data engineer (Big Data engineer)
  • The role of the data engineer is to provide the necessary support for data processing. He or she is responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture. He or she is also responsible for adding value to data in the mathematical sense (AI), by sorting millions of pieces of data through various software programs in order to transform them into usable information.
