Prerequisites : Anglais I (EE-IRM541)
Teaching objectives :
- LEVEL A2 : Pre-intermediate level
This course aims to consolidate the prior knowledge in English and to expand it as well with the stress put on the four skills.
- LEVEL B1 : Intermediate level
This course aims to help students concentrate much more on increasing their vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking knowledge.
- LEVEL B2 : Upper-Intermediate level
The aim of this course is that the students can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. They can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Besides, they can produce detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue by giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
