Building Information Modeling (BIM) training
2 Years | 180 Credits
In recent years, BIM or Building Information Modeling has become a must in the construction world.
But what exactly is Building Information Modeling?
It is a new project approach that enables the optimisation of the realisation (in terms of economy and coordination) and the management of a project. BIM or "building information model" is a complex process of collaborative work, which enables all stages of the project to be managed around an interactive digital model. This model allows all the different actors of the project(architect, contractors, pilot, engineers, etc.) to intervene simultaneously on the project and to coordinate in real time their different actions. Nowadays, the practical world needs skills in this field that are not limited to knowledge of 3D drawing software. It is necessary to master a certain number of mechanisms specific to the BIM approach, in particular those linked to project and team management as well as those specific to the new legal provisions.
Within theprivate university Polytech INTL, the Master in Building Information Modeling has been designed to offer the possibility of following one or more modules in the form of short non-degree training sessions, at the end of which a certificate of aptitude is awarded. To obtain the diploma, it is necessary to complete the entire training course.
